Terms of Service & Privacy Policy

1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and the operator of Bondwoo (“Bondwoo”, “we”, “us”), and govern your access to and use of bondwoo.com and all its features, including public chat rooms, private chats, random video chat, friend requests and any related services (the “Service”). The Privacy Policy in section 13 and the community rules in section 5 are part of these Terms.

By entering the Service (including through Fast Auth, a registered account or Google sign-in) you confirm that you have read, understood and accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Adults only (18+)

• By entering your birthdate and using the Service you declare, under your own responsibility, that the information is true. Providing a false age is a breach of these Terms.
• Bondwoo does not verify the identity or age of users. We are not responsible for false statements made by users about their age or identity.
• If we have reason to believe a user is under 18, we will close their access immediately and remove their data.
• Do not allow minors to use your device or account, and make sure no minor appears on your camera, even in the background.
• Bondwoo is labeled with the RTA (Restricted To Adults) label so parental control tools can block it. See our parental control guide.

Section 230(d) notice: as required by 47 U.S.C. § 230(d), we inform you that parental control protections (such as computer hardware, software or filtering services) are commercially available and may help limit access to material that is harmful to minors.

3. Accounts

3.1 Temporary @Fast accounts

Fast Auth lets you enter with a nickname, birthdate and gender. Your nickname gets an @Fast tag. Fast accounts are temporary: they are not stored in our user database, their friendships and private chats are kept only in your browser, and they disappear when the session or browser data is cleared. To protect the community and enforce bans, Fast accounts are associated with a device identifier (see section 13). Fast accounts display advertising.

3.2 Registered accounts

You can register with an email and password or with Google sign-in. Registered accounts keep friends and private chats and are ad-free. You must confirm your email, keep your credentials secret and are responsible for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately at Bondwooofficial@gmail.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

3.3 Nicknames

Do not use nicknames that impersonate another person or brand, include personal data of others, or are offensive, sexual, discriminatory or misleading. We may change or remove any nickname that breaks these rules.

4. What Bondwoo is (and isn’t)

• Bondwoo is a communication platform that connects adults so they can talk. We provide the technical means; we do not create, request, pre-screen or endorse the messages, images or video that users exchange.
• Bondwoo is not a dating service, an escort service or an adult content producer. We do not perform background checks, identity checks or criminal record checks on users.
• We cannot and do not guarantee the identity, intentions, age or behavior of any user. You interact with other users at your own risk, and you are solely responsible for your decisions, including sharing personal information or meeting anyone in person.
• The Service is provided free of charge and may change, be interrupted or be discontinued at any time.

5. Community rules and sanctions

These rules apply everywhere on Bondwoo: chat rooms, private chats, video calls, nicknames and reports.

5.1 Zero tolerance (permanent ban and report to authorities)

• Any content, conversation or behavior that sexualizes, exploits or endangers minors, including drawings, AI-generated content, “age play” or requests to minors.
• Sharing, threatening to share or requesting intimate images of someone without their consent (non-consensual intimate imagery, “revenge porn”), and sextortion.
• Recording, screenshotting, streaming or publishing another user’s video, image or private messages without their explicit consent.
• Threats of violence, terrorism or self-harm encouragement, human trafficking, and the sale of drugs, weapons or other illegal goods or services.
• Offering or requesting sexual services in exchange for money or other benefits (prostitution, escorting, paid shows).

5.2 Also prohibited

• Harassment, bullying, stalking, hate speech or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or nationality.
• Showing nudity or sexual content to anyone who has not clearly and freely consented, including at the start of a random video match, and any explicit sexual content in public chat rooms.
• Sharing personal data of others (doxxing): names, addresses, phone numbers, photos, workplaces.
• Impersonating other people, using fake or pre-recorded video, virtual cameras or deepfakes to deceive others.
• Spam, flooding, chain messages, advertising, affiliate or referral links, and phishing or malicious links.
• Scams and fraud, including asking for money, gift cards, crypto or verification codes.
• Using bots, scripts or scraping; attacking, overloading or reverse-engineering the Service; bypassing bans, filters or security measures.

5.3 Sanctions

Depending on how serious the violation is, we may delete content, issue a temporary ban or permanently ban a user, with or without notice. As a reference, these are the usual ban durations:

Zero-tolerance violations (5.1) always lead to a permanent ban. Moderators may apply a different sanction when the circumstances justify it. Trying to evade a ban (new nickname, new account, new device) extends it.

6. Public chat rooms

• Messages in chat rooms are public. Everyone in the room can read them and they are visible to moderators. Anyone can take screenshots. Do not share personal or sensitive information.
• Room messages are stored on our servers so they can be shown to people who join later. Rooms keep a limited history, and older messages may be deleted at any time.
• Moderators may delete messages and ban users who break these Terms. Moderation is not continuous and some content may not be removed immediately; report anything that breaks the rules.
• Bondwoo is not responsible for links shared by users. Do not click links from strangers.
• The optional translation button sends the selected message to a third-party translation service (see section 12).

7. Private chats

Private chats are one-on-one conversations between users who have accepted each other’s friend request.

7.1 Encryption and storage

• Private messages are end-to-end encrypted: they are encrypted on the sender’s device and can only be decrypted by the recipient’s device. Bondwoo does not have the keys and cannot read the content.
• For registered users, encrypted messages are stored on our servers so you can see your conversation history. For @Fast users, private chats are only relayed by our servers and kept in your browser; they are not stored by Bondwoo.
• Private messages may be deleted automatically after 24 hours, when either user removes the friendship, or when an account is deleted. Do not rely on Bondwoo to keep a copy of any conversation.
• Images shared in private chats (when this feature is available) are stored in cloud storage and accessed through private, expiring links. The link is encrypted, but the image file itself is not end-to-end encrypted.

7.2 Responsibility for private conversations

• To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bondwoo is not liable for the content of private chats, nor for any damage arising from them, including scams, extortion, harassment, emotional harm, loss of money, or the consequences of sharing personal data or intimate content, or of meeting someone in person.
• All rules in section 5 apply to private chats. Using private chats to commit or arrange illegal acts is forbidden.
• You can remove a friend at any time, which ends the private chat for both users, and you can report a user. Because we cannot read private messages, we act on the information you provide (for example, screenshots). Keep your own evidence and, if a crime is involved, contact the police.
• Bondwoo cannot recover, decrypt or hand over the content of encrypted private messages, including to you.

8. Random video chat (webcam)

Random video chat matches you with another available adult for a live 1-on-1 video and audio conversation, with optional text chat. By using it you accept the following terms in addition to the rest of these Terms.

8.1 How it works

• Video and audio are transmitted peer-to-peer (WebRTC) directly between the two browsers. Bondwoo’s servers only exchange the technical signals needed to connect you; a third-party STUN server (Google) helps the browsers find each other.
• Bondwoo does not record, store, watch or monitor video calls, and has no access to the video or audio. Text messages sent during a video chat are relayed in real time and are not stored.
• Because the connection is direct, the other user’s browser can technically see your IP address, which can reveal your approximate location. Use a VPN if this concerns you.
• Matching is random. Bondwoo does not choose, pre-screen or verify the people you are matched with.

8.2 Recording and consent

• Recording, capturing, streaming, saving or distributing another user’s image, voice or video without their explicit consent is strictly prohibited and may be a crime. Violations lead to a permanent ban and may be reported to the authorities.
• You may only appear on camera yourself. Do not show other people (especially minors) or third parties who have not consented.
• Nudity or sexual content may never be shown to another user without their clear, prior and freely given consent. Unsolicited exposure is prohibited. Sexual content involving minors, or anyone who appears to be a minor, is absolutely forbidden.

8.3 Nudity filter

• The optional nudity filter analyzes the incoming video on your own device with an AI model and blurs it when it detects possible nudity. No images are sent to Bondwoo.
• The filter is a convenience tool, not a guarantee: it may miss explicit content or blur content that is not explicit. You may choose to view blurred content or turn the filter off; if you do, you accept the risk of seeing content you may find offensive.
• Bondwoo is not responsible for content shown by other users, nor for failures of the filter.

8.4 Your responsibility

You are solely responsible for what you show and say on camera and for complying with the laws of the place where you are. You can end any call instantly with Next or Pause, and you can report the other user. Since we do not see video calls, reports are reviewed based on the information available and may lead to bans.

9. Your content and license

• You keep ownership of the content you send. You grant Bondwoo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit and display that content only as necessary to operate the Service (for example, showing your message in a chat room).
• You represent that you have all rights and consents needed to share your content, including the consent of any person who appears in it, and that it does not break the law or these Terms.
• We may remove any content in public areas at our discretion, without notice.
• The Bondwoo name, logo, design and software belong to Bondwoo and may not be used without permission.

10. Reports, moderation and law enforcement

• You can report users from the chat, from a video call, or by email at Bondwooofficial@gmail.com. Reports are stored with the reported user’s ID, the reporting user’s ID, the reason and the date. False or abusive reports are a breach of these Terms.
• When we ban a user from a public room, we keep a record of the ban, including the nickname, the reason, the duration and the message that caused it.
• Child safety: we report child sexual abuse material and related conduct to the competent authorities (such as the NCMEC CyberTipline and local law enforcement), preserve relevant data as required by law and cooperate fully with investigations. If you see something, report it immediately to Bondwooofficial@gmail.com with as many details as possible.
• We may disclose information when required by law, a court order or a valid request from authorities, or when necessary to protect the life, safety or rights of any person.
• If you are a victim of non-consensual intimate image sharing, you can also get help from StopNCII.org.

11. Copyright and takedown notices

We respect intellectual property and personal image rights. If you believe content on Bondwoo infringes your copyright or your image rights, email Bondwooofficial@gmail.com with: your contact details; a description of the work or image concerned; where it appears on Bondwoo (room, nickname, date and time); a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized; and a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf. We will remove infringing content and may ban repeat infringers.

12. Third-party services, links and advertising

• The Service relies on third-party providers (hosting, databases, cloud storage, email, Google sign-in, reCAPTCHA, translation and advertising). Their use of data is described in section 13 and governed by their own policies.
• Temporary @Fast accounts display ads from third-party advertising networks, which may open new windows or tabs and may use cookies. Bondwoo does not control and is not responsible for advertisers or the content of ads or the websites they lead to.
• Users may share links to external websites. Bondwoo does not control and is not responsible for any external website, its content or what it may do on your device.

13. Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Bondwoo processes, why, and your rights. Bondwoo is the data controller. Contact: Bondwooofficial@gmail.com.

13.1 Data we process

What we don’t collect: we do not record or store video calls, audio or text sent during video calls; we do not store @Fast private chats; we do not read encrypted private messages; and we do not sell your personal data.

13.2 Legal bases

We process data to provide the Service you request (performance of a contract), to keep the community safe and prevent abuse (legitimate interest), to comply with legal obligations, and, where required, with your consent (for example, for advertising cookies). You may withdraw consent at any time.

13.3 Service providers

We share data only with providers that help us run Bondwoo, and only as needed: hosting and databases (cloud servers, MongoDB and PostgreSQL providers), Amazon Web Services (image storage), Resend (transactional email), Google (Sign-In, reCAPTCHA and the STUN server used to connect video calls), MyMemory (only the message you choose to translate) and third-party advertising networks for @Fast users. Some providers are located outside your country, including in the United States; we rely on their contractual safeguards for these transfers.

13.4 Retention

• Registered account data: until you delete your account.
• @Fast sessions: not stored in our user database; local data stays in your browser until you clear it.
• Public room messages: limited history, periodically deleted.
• Encrypted private messages: see section 7.1.
• Ban and report records: for as long as necessary for safety and legal purposes.
• Data related to illegal content may be preserved for as long as required by law or by the authorities.

13.5 Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under Argentina’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 25,326 and the EU/UK GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify, delete, port and object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. You can delete your account directly from the app (account settings → Delete account) or write to Bondwooofficial@gmail.com. We answer within the legal deadlines. You may also complain to your data protection authority (in Argentina, the Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública – AAIP).

13.6 Minors

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has used Bondwoo, contact us and we will delete their data.

14. Cookies and local storage

• Essential: your session token, theme preference, encryption keys and @Fast friends/chats are saved in your browser’s local storage and IndexedDB. Without them the Service does not work.
• Security: Google reCAPTCHA may set cookies to protect sign-up and Fast Auth from bots.
• Advertising: ad networks shown to @Fast users may use cookies and similar technologies.

You can delete cookies and site data from your browser settings at any time; doing so will log you out and remove @Fast data stored on your device.

15. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, that content will be preserved, that the nudity filter or moderation will catch all inappropriate content, or that any user is who they say they are. No system is 100% secure. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under the consumer protection laws applicable to you.

16. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bondwoo and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits or reputation, arising from or related to your use of the Service; the conduct or content of any user, online or offline, including in private chats and video calls; recordings or captures made by other users; third-party services, ads or links; or unauthorized access to your data. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed USD 50. This does not limit liability for intentional misconduct or any liability that cannot be limited by law.

17. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bondwoo and its operators from any claim, damage, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.

18. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Bondwoo and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, ban your nickname, account or device, and remove your content, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect users or the Service. Sections 7.2, 8.4, 9, 10, 15, 16, 17 and 19 survive termination.

19. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be submitted to the ordinary courts of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, Argentina, unless the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence grant you the right to bring the claim before your local courts. Before starting any claim, please contact us at Bondwooofficial@gmail.com so we can try to resolve it informally.

20. Changes and general provisions

• We may update these Terms. We will change the date at the top and, for significant changes, notify users on the site. Continuing to use the Service after the update means you accept the new Terms.
• If any provision is found invalid, the rest remains in force.
• Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
• You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. We may transfer them in connection with a reorganization or sale of the Service.
• These Terms are written in English. Translations are for convenience; the English version prevails.
